Marta Wnuczek (pronounced Vnu-chek) has always loved color: its subtleties, its power, its changeability. Trained as an artist, Marta now makes the face her canvas and the makeup box her palette. She has the power and skill to make your face a work of art. Understated, dramatic, romantic, powerful, mysterious, or whatever the client desires to project.

Marta came to Chicago with her parents in 1994, leaving her native Poland to “start a new life in America.” Having studied Art and History, Marta originally planned to teach art, but found her true passion when she landed a job with Estee Lauder. She later worked with L’Oreal and MAC cosmetics earning recognition for her makeup artistry through a variety of freelance assignments, including photo shoots for musicians, models, and actors from New York to Los Angeles.

Marta remains committed to the most modern makeup techniques, participating in ongoing training and education to absolutely ensure her client’s satisfaction. Marta, and The Image Studios share the same enthusiasm for helping individuals project who they really are, and this is the reason that she has chosen to share her talents and vision there.

Marta’s openness to creative ideas, as well as her energy for her work, wins her loyal clients time and again. She looks forward to working with you.

Marta lives in the West Ridge neighborhood on Chicago’s north side with her husband, Mark, and young daughter, Evelyn Tyler.
